IV&V Australia respect your privacy, and complies with the all the relevant Australian privacy laws.

This policy identifies what private information we collect, how we use it, and how you can have it corrected or removed.  It also explains what you can do if you believe we have interfered with your privacy.

In conducting our business, we collect and retain certain personal information. In particular:

  • We maintain an electronic mailing list for distribution of our newsletter and other such information;
  • We maintain a database of contact information for current and potential future clients;
  • We retain résumés for potential employees.

How we use this information


Contact information:  We collect and maintain a database of contact information for current and future clients. This information is limited to contact information, employment position, and similar types of data. We do not collect "sensitive" information. We actively seek to correct this information whenever we identify errors.

Résumés, etc:  We are often provided with personal information such as résumés - either in response to job ads, or unsolicited. Even if we don't employ the applicant, we may retain this information in our files if we think we may be interested in employing them in the future. We never release such information to third parties without the individual's prior explicit permission.

Finding out what information we hold, correcting it, and deleting it

In most cases, we will remove any data we hold about you on request - if we will not do this, we will explain why to you.
